Marketing Executive (Social Media & Content Creator)

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Creative Multimedia, Design, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years experience in content creation, social media, videography, or digital marketing (fresh grads with portfolios welcome).
  • Proficient in video editing tools (CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere) and design tools (Canva/Photoshop).
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills in Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a must.
  • Confident on-camera with good storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with social media trends, content funnels, and engagement metrics.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, responsible, and willing to learn new tools including AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
  • Experience with e-commerce, food-delivery platforms, or community management (私域) is an added advantage.
  • Portfolio required (links or samples).
Content Planning & Strategy

Develop monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and festive events. Research market trends, competitor content, and audience behavior to generate creative ideas. Maintain consistent brand identity across all platforms.

Content Creation (Visual, Copywriting & Production)

Produce engaging short‑form videos, reels, lifestyle/product photos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, 小红书 (XHS), and more. Write captivating captions, product stories, headlines, and campaign copy. Participate in photo/video shoots and perform video editing (CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere, etc.). Create marketing materials such as posters, banners, product visuals using Canva/Adobe tools.

Social Media Management & Publishing

Manage daily posting and scheduling according to the content calendar. Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement across all platforms. Track content performance metrics and prepare monthly analytics and improvement reports.

Live Commerce & On‑Camera Hosting

Host or support livestream sessions on TikTok, Facebook, Shopee, Lazada, etc. Present products confidently, interact with audiences, and drive engagement/sales. Prepare script flows, key selling points, and CTA strategies for livestreams. Review livestream analytics to optimize future performance.

Influencer/KOL & Campaign Coordination

Identify and collaborate with suitable influencers/KOLs. Prepare briefs, manage product send‑outs, and track influencer campaign results. Support marketing campaigns, product launches, sampling activities, and roadshows.

E‑Commerce & Digital Marketing Support

Assist with uploading SKUs, updating product descriptions, and maintaining online shop listings. Support simple digital ads (boosted posts, basic campaign setup). Work with agencies for advanced ads when required. Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and emerging trends.

Food Delivery & POS Management

Manage Foodpanda, GrabFood, and other food‑delivery platform menus, listings, pricing, promotions, and visual assets. Ensure accuracy of product details, availability, and seasonal updates across all platforms. Update POS system regarding products, pricing, combos, and promotions. Coordinate with operations and customer support for troubleshooting order or platform issues. Handle related ad‑hoc operations tasks when required.

WhatsApp Community (私域) Management

Manage and grow WhatsApp private domain groups (私域) to nurture loyal customers. Share updates, promotions, product highlights, and exclusive deals to enhance community engagement. Monitor group activity, respond to enquiries, and maintain a positive customer experience. Work with the marketing team to plan private‑domain campaigns and retention strategies.

Team Support & Reporting

Collaborate closely with Marketing, E‑Commerce, Operations, and Creative teams for campaign execution. Assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports and pitching decks. Perform other creative, marketing, or operational tasks as needed.
