Job summary

A marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the execution of marketing campaigns and manage social media platforms. You will coordinate with various teams and prepare reports while handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma/Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in Advertising and Promotion or within a retail chain environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, designers, and suppliers.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign data and prepare reports.
  • Handle basic administrative work related to marketing activities.
  • Manage and update social media platforms.
  • Support day-to-day marketing operations and tasks as assigned.

Assist in the execution of marketing and promotional campaigns

Coordinate with internal teams, outlets, designers, and suppliers

Track, analyze, and prepare simple reports (Excel) of marketing campaigns

Handle basic administrative work related to marketing activities, including assist in monitoring and tracking marketing budgets and expenditures

Assist in managing and updating social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Support day-to-day marketing operations and ad-hoc marketing tasks as assigned

Maintain and update customer databases; support the use of CRM systems for marketing activities

Job Requirements

Minimum diploma/Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field

At least 1 year of relevant working experience in Advertising and Promotion or within a retail chain environment

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP

Good organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients)

Must possess own transport and be willing to travel as and when required
