Responsibilities
- a) Conduct research to identify and evaluate market trends, brand awareness, customer preferences, and competitors\' activities related to products and lab services. Stay informed about the latest developments in the field.
- b) Create videos/posters/catalogues/etc. for company video/product intro/events/etc. using digital marketing tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Canva, etc./anything else equivalent.
- c) Manage company’s website, SEO, company’s social media platforms such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
- d) Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans to promote the laboratory scientific equipment, testing and engineering services. This includes setting clear goals and KPIs.
- e) Utilize digital channels, such as the company’s website, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising, to reach the target audience effectively.
- f) Maintain and enhance the company’s branding & identity. Ensure that all marketing materials and messages align with the company’s direction.
- g) Plan, manage and execute promotional events, webinars, seminars, and conferences according to the purpose of the respective events. Coordinate participation in relevant industry trade shows.
- h) Monitor marketing campaigns and initiatives, track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- i) To place cold calls, at least 8-10 telemarketing calls a day as a form of obtaining new customers and introducing products and services and provide a summary report to Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
- j) Work closely with sales team and get the latest updates on sales activity and prepare the updated weekly report to management.
- k) Maintain and update customer, product and services database.
- l) To work on relevant task assigned by management.
- m) Providing support with tender bids, including collating information and assisting with the timely completion and returning of information via email and portals.
- n) Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
- a) Possess at least a Degree in Marketing or Mass Communication or any related field.
- b) Preferably min. 3 to 5 years working experience in related field.
- c) Well experienced in basic filming/photography for company video/product intro/etc.
- d) Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Canva, etc./anything else equivalent.
- e) Knowledge on SEO/website creation.
- f) Excellent marketing ideas, designing experience and computer literate related to marketing field.
- g) Deep understanding on market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
- h) Excellent communication with strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
- i) Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- j) High sense of responsibilities to complete task within deadlines.
- k) Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- l) Candidates need to submit their portfolio of their past works/projects.
