Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in content creation or social media management
• Comfortable appearing on camera and communicating confidently in Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent
• Familiar with social media platforms and short‑form video trends
• Basic knowledge of videography and photography (framing, lighting, composition)
• Proficient in Canva or similar design tools
• Good communication, time management, and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Creative, responsible, and detail‑oriented

Additional Requirements (Advantage)

• Experience creating Malay‑language social media content
• Familiarity with TikTok, Reels, and short‑form video formats
• Comfortable collaborating in a team environment

Portfolio & Application Requirement

• Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit a past content portfolio (TikTok / Instagram / Reels / videos created)
• Suggest ONE content idea for a TikTok post and an Instagram post for Car Dreams (simple idea outline is sufficient – no need to produce the video)

Responsibility

• Create and publish content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, focusing on the Malay market
• Appear on camera for short‑form videos, voice‑over content, or promotional materials when required
• Plan and produce video and photo content in collaboration with the content team
• Edit videos and images according to brand guidelines and platform requirements
• Design simple graphics and visual materials for marketing content (social media posts, banners, promotional visuals)
• Write captions and basic copy in Bahasa Malaysia that are clear, engaging, and on‑brand
• Coordinate content planning and scheduling with internal teams
• Work together with another in‑house content creator (Chinese market) and take turns handling photography and content shoots
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements where necessary
• Maintain consistency in brand tone, style, and messaging
• Support ad hoc marketing and content‑related tasks as assigned
