Job Description: The purpose of this role is to provide technical direction and support for Global Market Data Operations and Engineering (MDOE) supported products (LSEG, Bloomberg, Solace, Symphony, Springboard, Exegy and FactSet) for Capital Markets (CM) business users and applications globally with a primary focus in APAC, as well as contributing to the global support of the platforms. Liaison between market data users, technology staff and management to ensure high quality and availability of market data and messaging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate as part of the Global Market Data group on all areas of Market Data architecture, engineering, implementation and support.
- Partner with application development teams to ensure that market data dependency risks are minimized and that needs are fully understood and met.
- Ensure documentation on all systems in use for production and disaster recovery and regulatory purposes.
- Ensure production problems, bugs, system problems/changes are documented, and requests are acted upon promptly.
- Keep Senior Management advised of situations that may compromise agreed deliverables and/or affect production systems.
- Manage and resolve incidents and outages.
- Manage requests for changes, system releases and capacity planning.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the environment.
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.

- Ability to achieve strategic deliverables while still meeting short‑ and medium‑term needs.
- Ability to clearly define and communicate ideas and broker consensus to keep initiatives progressing.
- Knowledge of collaboration tools – Symphony.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, Networking.
- Knowledge of shell scripting (ksh, sh, csh, perl, python).
- Knowledge of systems monitoring and capacity planning technologies for low‑latency environments.
- Experience with underlying networking and server technologies used in market data infrastructures.
- Experience with LSEG RTDS, Bloomberg, Exegy or other major market data systems.
- Understanding of messaging systems (Solace, Tibco RV, Kafka).
- Experience with real‑time feeds and the communication protocols used.
- Graduate‑level degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, engineering) – desired.
