Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processes.
  • Implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC and PFMEA.
  • Analyzes manufacturing process flows continuously to improve quality, reduce costs, and reduce lead times for new work.
  • Collaborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods.
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Addresses and documents cause and corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Determines required materials and tools for production.
  • Creates and updates work instructions.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of engineering tasks in planning, designing, and modifying fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes. Resolves production problems and completes documentation for assigned parts.
