Job description

Design, install and maintain a scalable data kiosk to ensure easy use and smooth functioning for different stakeholders (Production, Quality, SCM, ...). Additionally collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and facilitate access to relevant data sources.

Implement data ingestion processes from various sources (MIP/PASS/ERP/...) utilizing ETL tools. Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting of data. Optimize existing data processing and storage systems for performance and scalability. Document and maintain best practices for data engineering processes and technology usage. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in big data technologies to continuously improve our data practices.

Monitoring and managing the data stocks in the kiosk. Supporting and training users in the use of the data kiosk. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issues. Collaborating with Smart Manufacturing team to implement updates and new features as well as set up automated data acquisition and data extraction. Creating and maintaining documentation and user manuals. Analyzing and reporting on the use of the data kiosk and making suggestions for improvement. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the use of the data kiosk incl. authorizations.

2. Data Integrity & Traceability

Conducting data quality checks and identifying inconsistencies or errors. Communicating with Data Controllers as well as Smart Manufacturing Engineers.

Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy. Monitor and analyze traceability data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Generate reports on traceability metrics and present findings to stakeholders. Train operations stakeholders incl. data scientists and analysts on traceability protocols and data management tools. Provide traceability reports to production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Business Administration/Industrial Engineering/Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and experience required

3-5 years experience in business administration or computer science

Excellent command of the English language, very analytical, interpersonal and social skills, good knowledge in SAP ERP/BI and/or MES systems, strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling, SQL languages
