Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant as a Costing, Capex & Business Analytics Lead. This key role involves leading product costing efforts, implementing capex control frameworks, and establishing analytics functions. The ideal candidate will have 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance, hands-on SAP exposure, and familiarity with AI-enabled tools. This position requires strong leadership and analytical skills to drive department growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance with strong costing exposure.
• Hands-on experience with SAP in costing, finance, or analytics modules.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead product costing for packaging technologies across multiple plants.
• Implement a structured capex review and approval framework.
• Build and operate the business analytics function with dashboards and KPIs.
