This is a full‑time role based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and delivering profitable revenue results. The role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating key customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Strategic Revenue Growth Planning & Budget Realisation
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Identify and penetrate new market segments and industries.
    • Deliver sales to budget.
  • 2. Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and decision‑makers.
    • Develop a robust customer retention strategy.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Manage sales cycles and negotiate high‑value contracts.
  • 3. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis
    • Conduct ongoing research on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • 4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with NPI, Engineering, Production, and Finance teams.

  • 5. Business Development and New Market Penetration
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Develop strategies for entering new markets or industries.
    • Establish partnerships and strategic alliances.
  • 6. Pricing and Margin Management
    • Balance competitive pricing with profitability.
    • Analyse cost structures and pricing models.
    • Optimise product mix and margins.
    • Implement value‑based pricing approaches.
  • 7. Risk Management and Compliance
    • Ensure sales practices comply with legal and ethical standards.
    • Manage potential conflicts and negotiation challenges.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales/business development business‑to‑business experience in:
    • Data Storage / Hard Disk Drive; and/or
    • Electronics; and/or
    • Semiconductor.
  • Experience in Injection Molding and/or Thermoforming industries preferred.
  • Performance‑driven with strong independent problem‑solving abilities.
  • Rapid learner with adaptable and resourceful mindset.
