About the Role

This role advances and matures AIA’s identity and security posture by optimizing Okta and Microsoft Entra ID capabilities in alignment with GIS standards. This role also provides expert guidance and advisory support to business units to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient identity and access management practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure identity and access management solutions to mature the organization’s security posture in line with GIS standards.
• Provide guidance to business units on identity security best practices, application integration, and compliance requirements.
• Lead engineering efforts, including architecture, configuration, and optimization of identity workflows.
• Perform hands‑on integration of applications for Single Sign‑On (SSO) and secure authentication.
• Apply strong knowledge of user authentication and authorization methods to enforce least privilege and Zero Trust principles.
• Implement and maintain administration best practices, including tenant hygiene, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor identity systems for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps; recommend and implement improvements.
• Work closely with GIS and application teams to align identity solutions with business needs and security requirements.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code and automation of identity configurations and deployments (good to have).
