Responsibilities

• Resolve accounting issues by supervising staff work.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly reports and budgets.
• Liaise with auditors and professionals as necessary.
• Manage month-end closing to meet deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes.
• Monitor and conduct physical stocktakes.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting functions to ensure accuracy in compliance with current accounting practices and principles
• Lead and oversee the accounts department, which is related to AP
• Resolve accounting issues by supervising and reviewing the work done by the accounting staff
• Ensure the timely submission of monthly cost management reports, budget reports, etc.
• Liaise with auditors and other professionals as necessary
• Manage the month-end closing to ensure the deadlines and deliverables are completed in time
• Drive continuous improvement in current accounting processes and management reporting
• Monitor and carry out a physical stocktake
• Undertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignment given by the Superior

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience, preferably with a manufacturing background
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer-literate and well-versed in Microsoft Office
• Required Language: English, Malay & Mandarin. Candidates with proficiency in Mandarin are required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Possess own transport to work at PJ8 Office Tower, Petaling Jaya
