Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Seremban seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal operation of hotel systems. Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Candidates should hold a diploma in a relevant field and have 1-2 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Experience with AV systems and general building maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Check operation of chiller unit and take performance readings.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and prepare shift scheduling.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintain hotel electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.

Overview

Karisma Hospitality Sdn Bhd – Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Responsibilities
  • Checking on operation of chiller unit and take performance reading
  • Check cooling tower and make up tank and dose chemical required
  • Check and service hot water generator (water heater)
  • Clean and check chiller room
  • Clean and clear dust from air condition grating and air filter
  • Check and servicing for chiller pump and condenser pump
  • Ionize filter checking and cleaning
  • Supervise all work done by Maintenance staff including rectification work, daily project, maintenance work, etc
  • Prepare shift scheduling (duty roster), attendance list, overtime form, leave form, etc for staff
  • Train staff on the job
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of hotel electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, switches, and circuit breakers
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal temperature and air quality
  • Diagnose and fix plumbing problems including water leakages
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual (AV) systems in conference rooms, event halls, and other guest areas, ensuring all equipment functions properly for events
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical or related technical field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Experience with AV systems, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance is essential
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
