Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is looking for a maintenance technician to conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or certificate in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and have 1-2 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining factory facilities, ensuring spare parts availability, and supporting the maintenance supervisor in system improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for all production types of machinery.
• Maintain air-conditioning, compressors, utility supply, and factory facilities.
• Carry out continuous improvement activities to enhance machine performance.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts.
• Support maintenance supervisor in monitoring and improving maintenance systems.
• Assist in additional tasks as assigned.

• Carry out continuous improvement activities to improve machine performance and reduce costs.
• Ensure critical spare parts are readily available.
• Support maintenance supervisor in monitoring and continually improving the maintenance system of the company.
• Support any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical.
• Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems plus CNC machinery.
• 1–2 years working experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
