Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on manufacturing.

Strong skills in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and facility maintenance.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Diagnose faults.
  • Repair equipment and test repairs.
  • Supervise contractors, engineering, and technical staff.
  • Order specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
  • Create maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain and improve equipment and facilities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and prolong equipment life.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and ensure equipment operates at peak performance.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance performance to senior management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve equipment performance and minimize downtime.
