Responsibilities

• Planning and organizing of manpower to carry out preventive maintenance; breakdown maintenance; shutdown maintenance and project.
• To liaise with contractors & vendors for matching up works schedule.
• Maintain works record and develop maintenance system to ensure spares availability.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and safe engineering practises.
• To ensure effective implementation and compliance of company management systems.
• To carry out daily activities in-line with Quality Management System and report irregularities or other non-conformance which may occur at their level of responsibilities.

Responsibilities – Maintenance Support

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Maintenance Support Department.
• Work closely with other maintenance manager to establish procedures and Key Performance Indicators to continuously improve their productivities; quality and optimize maintenance cost.
• Promote good housekeeping; good engineering practices; safety; healthy and clean working environment.
• Manage and control plant maintenance planning and scheduling in line with Plant Maintenance in SAP system.
• Provide Failure Analysis Report and Cost/Budget Update for other maintenance head as to continuously monitor & improve their performances.
• Provide manpower planning; motivation and necessary training.
• Maintain and continue to enhance the Plant Maintenance Management system (SAP).

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Familiar with Factories and Machinery Act and Regulation; Occupational Safety and Healthy Acts and Environmental Quality Acts and regulations.
• Familiar with SAP / Plant maintenance Management System operation and trouble shooting.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in mechanical and civil maintenance of chemical plant.
