Job summary

A construction firm in Puchong is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to coordinate and review designs, manage tenders, and ensure compliance with specifications in ongoing projects. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in M&E Fit Out Design and Cost Estimation. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects in the area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in M&E Fit Out Design, Coordination and Testing & Commissioning.
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board (IEM, BEM) as added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in M&E Cost Estimation.

Responsibilities

• Assist PL/PM to coordinate and review M&E Consultants’ designs.
• Participate in all M&E tenders and advise on Value Engineering.
• Monitor performance of contractors and ensure compliance.

Skills

Knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, ELV)

Proficient in reading technical drawings

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Meticulous and proactive

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
