Job summary

A logistics company in Shah Alam is seeking a delivery driver to operate 1-ton and 3-tonne lorries for daily delivery and collection of products. Responsibilities

• Drive lorries for daily delivery and collection of products.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading at various locations.
• Check and verify Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and items.
• Follow planned delivery routes for punctual deliveries.
• Assist in signboard installation work at customer sites.
• Perform daily lorry inspections and report issues.
• Assist factory team with loading, unloading, and arranging goods.
• Follow all road safety rules and safety procedures.

Responsibility

Delivery & Transportation

• Drive 1-ton and 3-tonne lorries for daily delivery and collection of finished products and materials.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading at the factory, supplier premises, and customer locations.
• Check and verify Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and items before departing.
• Follow planned delivery routes and ensure punctual deliveries.

Signboard Installation Support

• Assist in signboard installation work at customer sites.
• Support installers by carrying materials, tools, ladders, and signboards.
• Help during setup, fixing, mounting, and dismantling of signboards.
• Ensure all installation tools and materials are properly loaded, secured, and accounted for.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Perform daily lorry inspections (tyres, lights, oil level, brakes, and general condition).
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or damages immediately to the factory management.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the lorry at all times.

Factory Support

• Assist factory team with loading, unloading, and arranging finished goods when needed.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all road safety rules, factory SOPs, and installation safety procedures.
• Ensure safe handling of materials during transport and installation support.
