A leading logistics firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch. The successful candidate will maintain inventory accuracy, supervise the team, and improve operational efficiency. Requirements include a diploma/degree in Logistics or related fields and 5–8 years of relevant experience. Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock control practices, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliation follow-ups.
Coordinate stock movements and operational alignment with company branches, ensuring smooth replenishment and distribution activities.
Monitor delivery service performance and escalate operational issues when required, while supporting the team in transportation coordination.
Track warehouse productivity, space utilisation, and operational efficiency, and recommend improvements to enhance workflow and cost effectiveness.
Handle operational issues such as stock discrepancies, damaged goods, urgent customer requirements, and service recovery actions.
Prepare and verify monthly billing, costing, and operational reports for management review.
Support documentation and operational requirements for month-end processes and internal compliance checks when needed.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain and service-related matters.
Lead, guide, and supervise warehouse team members to meet service standards, KPIs, and operational requirements.
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with supervisory or managerial exposure.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and operational reporting.
Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and warehouse reporting tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges effectively.
Experience supporting multi-branch distribution operations.
Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems and inventory tracking practices.
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
