Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often required.
At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics including experience in a management and supervisory roles.
Strong ability to lead, motivate, coach, and manage staff, including hiring, performance appraisal, and feedback.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with Senior Management staff, suppliers, and clients.
Ability to identify and solve problems, make sound decisions, and handle risk management.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics and inventory software.
Deep understanding of warehouse management procedures, inventory control principles, and the ability to plan and coordinate logistics operations, including routes and deliveries.
Knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations within a warehouse environment.
Knowledge in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Storage Practice (GSP) requirement.
General Job Description of Role & Responsibilities:
Report to the Chief Finance Officer / Plant General Manager on all matters pertaining to related activities.
Responsibilities include warehousing management system, physical distribution and managing the supply chain.
To manage all customs duties, including interfacing with freight forwarders and custom officers.
To ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, shipping and other inventory areas in both loading and unloading operations.
To ensure effective and efficient inventory control of all warehouse.
To establish relevant KPI for the logistics and warehouse functions and to measure the effectiveness of the operations through KPIs.
To ensure operation staff perform duties in accordance to Goods Distribution Storage and comply to Good Manufacturing Practice.
