Company Background

A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the flow of materials, components, and finished products within the data centre manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize transportation and storage solutions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, receipts, and inventory records.
  • Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding shipping and receiving.
  • Manage relationships with shipping companies and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics-related projects and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or data centre environment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation regulations.
  • Proficient in logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin, essential for communication with Chinese institutions and for operating equipment featuring Mandarin interfaces.
