Key Responsibilities
Import & Export (IMEX) Operations
- Managed import and export activities to ensure smooth movement of goods in and out of Malaysia in compliance with customs and government regulations.
- Coordinated documentation and logistics for international trade operations, including customs clearance and regulatory submissions. Duty Exemption & Regulatory Compliance
- Prepared and submitted duty exemption applications in accordance with JKDM requirements.
- Compiled and submitted Three‑Month Statement Reports to JKDM.
- Prepared sub‑contract applications and related reports.
- Managed applications for additional company warehouse approvals.
- Prepared scrap applications and disposal reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Export & Delivery Coordination
- Planned deliveries and coordinated packing arrangements to meet shipment requirements.
- Prepared commercial invoices and packing lists for export shipments.
- Arranged transportation bookings, including air freight (FedEx) and truck deliveries (Nippon).
- Applied for MITI Form D to support export activities.
Import & Customs Clearance
- Maintained and updated HS Code data, ensuring accurate classification and compliance.
- Coordinated with forwarding agents by submitting complete documentation for customs clearance.
- Monitored inbound shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery of imported goods to the factory.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience
- Language Proficiency: Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin or Japanese will be an added advantage)
- Possess a valid Class D driving license
