Job summary

A leading steel manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage delivery operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging transportation, preparing delivery orders, maintaining inventory records, and liaising with transport teams. Candidates should have a minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, with good communication skills and basic computer literacy. Malay and English proficiency is required, Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of logistics operations and inventory control.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job description

Handle logistic works such as lorry arrangement and transportation for steel products

Prepare and process delivery orders and related paperwork

Maintain accurate records for inventory movements, delivery notes, and logistic data

Liaise with transporters, drivers, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries

Verify quantities, product specifications, and documentation before dispatch

Manage basic customer or internal inquiries related to deliveries and logistics

Assist in managing and tracking the delivery details

Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment (steel or heavy industry preferred)

Basic knowledge of logistics operations, delivery coordination, and inventory control (Good in Mathematics)

Have basic computer skills (Ms Word and Excel)

Good communication skills and can work independently with minimum supervision

Possess own transport to work at Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja, Klang

Required language:English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
