Job summary

A leading global financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Financial Institution Sales Analyst/Associate. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients, including banks and asset managers. You will maintain key client relationships and work collaboratively with trading and banking partners. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Finance, possess at least 2 years of experience in a treasury dealing room, and be proficient in understanding treasury products. A PKMC/PPKM license is preferred.

As a Financial Institution Sales Analyst/Associate in our Local Markets Sales team, you will be at the forefront of executing multi-product transactions, across Equities, Rates, FX and Credit. You will engage with a diverse range of financial institutions, including Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers and Government Linked Investment Companies. Your role involves collaborating with trading, structuring, and banking partners to deliver comprehensive client coverage, market updates, and intelligence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships, executing across Equities, Rates, FX and Credit products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities.
  • Drive client revenue growth by developing account strategies and prospecting new clients.
  • Collaborate with trading, research, and banking partners to provide comprehensive client coverage.
  • Ensure superior attention to detail and adherence to JPM's business code of conduct.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • University degree in Finance or related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a treasury dealing room handling financial institution clients.
  • PKMC/PPKM License holder.
  • Strong foundation in treasury products.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem-solving and solutioning.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to partner well within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of BNM's FEA regulations and their application to client situations.
