Job summary

A reputable law firm located in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a Litigation Lawyer to handle courtroom matters independently and perform legal research. Ideal candidates should have 3–4 years of experience, with good interpersonal and multitasking skills. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for growth within the firm. Qualifications

LITIGATION LAWYER
  • Attend to all Litigation matters.
  • Attend Court matters independently; skilled in drafting, preparing cause papers, and e‑filing.
  • Perform comprehensive legal research.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to multi‑task, work under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • Attend to Clients and other legal works assigned by the Firm.
  • Responsible, self‑motivated, meticulous, with an analytical mind.
  • Freshly called to the bar and experienced lawyers may apply.

CONVEYANCING LAWYER
  • Lawyers with at least 1 year of conveyancing experience may apply.
  • Competitive salary with proper remuneration.
  • Assist partners in related conveyancing matters from the initial stage towards completion.
  • Be punctual in attendance to matters and physical presence such as document signing with clients.
  • Monitor file management.
  • Handle sub‑sales, loan documents, projects, discharge, perfection of charge, perfection of transfer, and conveyancing matters.
  • Experience in handling conveyancing works especially in Direct Purchase, Sub‑Sales, Perfection of Transfer & Charge and Loan documentation with various banks.
  • Able to handle from initial stage to completion of files.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, and government authorities (Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, etc.).
  • Perform comprehensive legal research.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3–4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and can work under pressure for handling multi‑files.
  • Able to converse in English and Malay (Mandarin will be an added advantage).
