Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Handle and manage various conveyancing matters including Subsales, Developer projects, Refinancing (individual and corporate loans), Auction, Transfer, and Transmission cases.
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documentation related to conveyancing and banking transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth completion of transactions.
  • Monitor timelines and key dates (e.g., completion date, stamping, presentation, CKHT filing, signing appointments) and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper execution of documentation, follow‑ups, and file management.
  • Assist in providing legal advice and solutions on conveyancing matters when required.
  • Produce accurate weekly progress reports and updates to the supervising lawyer/partner.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B. (Hons.) with a valid Practicing Certificate.
  • Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in general conveyancing, particularly in Sub‑sale and loan transactions.
  • Familiarity with banking and developer documentation as well as relevant government authority procedures and timelines.
  • Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in managing multiple files and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to different banks’ requirements, portals, and procedures.
  • Ability to start work immediately or within a short notice period is an added advantage.
