Admin & Legal Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
- Legal and Regulatory Research: Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and advise management on necessary actions to ensure compliance.
- Contract Review and Compliance: Examine contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with legal requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
- Advisory to Board and Management: Provide legal and corporate governance advice to the Board of Directors and senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Shareholder Communication and Disclosure: Manage communication between the company and its shareholders, ensuring compliance with statutory disclosure and reporting requirements.
- Management Claims Preparation: Prepare and submit monthly claims for the management team in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks and liabilities arising from contractual terms and business activities, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including the preparation and filing of statutory returns and other legal documents.
- Corporate Governance Oversight: Advise the Board on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with relevant governance codes, standards, and best practices.
- Statutory Record Keeping: Maintain and update statutory books and registers, including registers of members, directors, and company secretaries.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Corporate Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in legal, corporate secretarial, compliance, or administrative roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point).
- Strong communication, coordination, and supervisory skills.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential matters with discretion.
