Lecturer cum Programme Leader (School of Hospitality & Tourism Management)

Tobeaccountablefortheeffectiveplanning,deliveryandprovisionofacademicandpersonal development of all students placed under your charge.

To ensure all academic staff fulfil teaching responsibilities per the School standards.

To coordinate subjects, timetables, staff allocation, and resources.

To oversee assessments, including briefs, setup, assessors, and invigilation.

To develop, review, and update lesson plans and syllabi.

To assess student eligibility, exemptions, and course registrations.

To confirm graduation eligibility and prepare testimonials or references.

To handle student queries, complaints, counselling, and pastoral care.

To address student grievances and complaints effectively.

To assist in marketing and promotions, to participate in the School's events and activities when required.

Requirements:

Possess a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management/ Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food Service, Gastronomy, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, including at least 2 years in an administrative role.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work and people and serve as a role model for students in character development.

Mature personality and high sense of responsibility and commitment.
