Job Position
Responsible for leading and overseeing production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Coordinates production schedules, resources, and manpower while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Supports the Production Manager in daily production planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Accountabilities
- Lead daily production activities and monitor team performance
- Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and effectively
- Maintain quality standards and compliance with SOPs and safety regulations
- Coordinate with maintenance for machine upkeep and quick resolution of breakdowns
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and production consumables
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, 5S, cost‑saving activities)
- Prepare production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff
Profile Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Production/Operations management or relevant trade an advantage
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP, SAP, MS Office)
- Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, 5S, Kaizen)
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience
- Minimum 7 years in production or manufacturing roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Experience in team leadership, production planning, and workflow optimization
- Exposure to industrial machinery, fabrication, or assembly processes
