Overview

Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation and robotic equipment on production lines. Assist engineers in machine installation, calibration, and testing of robotic arms, conveyors, and sensors. Perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal machine uptime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system faults. Support continuous improvement activities related to process automation and productivity enhancement. Maintain records for equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.

  • Assist engineers in machine installation, calibration, and testing of robotic arms, conveyors, and sensors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Degree in any Engineering fields (Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and robotic systems (e.g., ABB, FANUC, UR).
  • Basic knowledge of control systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Good exposure with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools a plus
  • Able to lead and manage a group of Technician and Engineering operators for day to day tasks.
  • Familiar with PCBA processes reflow profiling, manual insertion, wave soldering, selective soldering, system assembly and rework.
