Job summary

A leading logistics company in Shah Alam is seeking a Customer Service Officer for the Land Transport sector. The role includes ensuring safe delivery and handling of items, updating customers on delivery status, and adhering to company SOPs. Candidates should possess a diploma in Business Management related to Transport/Logistics and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this customer-facing position.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Management related to Transport/Logistics is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Logistic & Transportation Industry is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Load shipments safely for delivery to meet customer requirements.
  • Regularly inform and update customers on movement.
  • Comply with all instructions and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
  • Deliver items to VIP customers and assist the Commercial Advisor when needed.
  • Communicate with customers daily via email/phone to fulfill their requests.
  • Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) is collected and returned on time.

Job Summary:

Responsible to ensure the collection and delivery of items in accordance with company standards. It necessitates the safe handling of cargo and adherence to service level agreements in line with company policies and customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load shipments in good and safe handling manner in the truck for delivery to meet the customer requirement and to minimize discrepancy.
  • To inform and update customer regularly on movement.
  • Comply to all instructions and written Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
  • Deliver items to all VIP customers.
  • Assist Commercial Advisor (CA) and White Glove (WG) on daily job.
  • Communicate with customers on daily basis via email/phone and fulfil their request and follow their SOP without fail.
  • Ensure the Proof of Delivery (POD) or Delivery Order (DO) are chopped and signed the receiving party and returned to Land Transport Department as the required timing.
  • To up-date location status and delivery status when the task is completed.
  • Immediate up-date to Superior on any discrepancy found on the cargos physical condition.
  • Immediate up-date of any incident/accident/breakdown happen during journey/transit.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Management related to Transport/Logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experiences in the Logistic & Transportation Industry.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system would be an advantage.
  • Service oriented, good interpersonal & communication skills.
