Job summary

A leading agricultural firm in Kuching, Malaysia is seeking individuals for laboratory roles involving plant tissue culture. Candidates must possess an SPM or equivalent qualification and show proficiency in teamwork and attention to detail. Responsibilities include media preparation, culture transfers, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness. Knowledge of laboratory tools is a plus. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily laboratory tasks, including media preparation and autoclaving.
• Perform culture transfers under the laminar flow cabinet in a sterile manner.
• Monitor and inspect culture for contamination or abnormalities.

• Carry out daily laboratory tasks, including media preparation, preparation of stock solution media, autoclaving, and equipment washing)
• Perform culture transfers under the laminar flow cabinet in a sterile manner
• Monitor and inspect culture for contamination or abnormalities
• Accurately record daily work transaction and laboratory data
• Maintain cleanliness through routine housekeeping and cleaning of the laboratory
