Overview

This is an outstanding opportunity to assume the position of KS2 Classroom Teacher at Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur with a January 2026 or immediate start. This opportunity is pivotal to the successful growth and development of the school in our newly built campus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are a fully co-educational all-through school serving Malaysian and International students from EYFS to Sixth Form. Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative KS2 Classroom Teacher to join our growing team. The main responsibilities of the post will include:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in English, Mathematics, Humanities, and Science, aligned with the school curriculum and international best practices.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including EAL learners and those with additional learning needs.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning, collaborative projects, and creative approaches to problem-solving.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and educational technology to enhance personalised learning and inspire innovation in the classroom.
  • Create a positive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a growth mindset.
Qualifications
  • A UK or internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject area.
Experience
  • Experience working in a British School, British International School, or with the British curriculum.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at primary level and able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the core curriculum.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, including English, Maths, Humanities, and Science.
  • Effective classroom management and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students, as well as collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Competence in assessing student progress, using data to inform teaching, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
  • Ability to integrate AI and digital learning tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
