Job description
Responsibilities
  • Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc machining tasks within the toolroom.
  • Supervise and monitor machine technicians' daily activities.
  • Oversee tool spare parts control, machine preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop CNC programs using NX 2312 for multi‑axis milling and turning.
  • Create Wire‑Cut EDM programs for precision tooling and mold components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to determine tooling requirements, cutting paths, and cycle times.
  • Optimize machining programs for accuracy, efficiency, and reduced cycle time.
  • Perform first‑off tests, validate tool paths, and adjust offsets, tooling, and parameters as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve machining issues and improve process stability.
  • Maintain updated documentation including programs, tooling sheets, revisions, and setup data.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate in Tool & Die, Machining, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Toolmaker or CNC Programmer in a toolroom or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming using NX 2312 for multi‑axis milling and turning.
  • Hands‑on experience in Wire‑Cut EDM programming using FikusPlus 20.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
  • Experience in toolroom operations, machine planning, technician supervision, and daily workflow management.
  • Knowledge of tool spare part control, machine PM, and troubleshooting.
  • Good problem‑solving skills, strong safety awareness, and ability to work independently.
