About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (C&S / M&E) to join the dynamic team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and cost control.

What you'll be doing

• BQ and quotation for the project.

• Source more quality Subcon and suppliers.

• Update supplier and Subcon\'s latest costing.

• Site visit and update project progress for each project.

• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers or Subcon for pricing samples, etc.

• Ability to source for supplies and quotation for tendering.

• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.

• Taking off quantities for tender.

• To assist in tender documentation/cost tabulation.

• Prepare tender and contract documentation including collection and checking for completeness of documents.

• Provide support in any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

• Possess at least a Certificate/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Has excellent communication and good negotiation skills, revised cost & quotation if/when required.

• Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.

• Computer literate with proficient in major Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Excel and etc.

• Proficient in MS Project.

• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Has basis knowledge of contractual matters.

• Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and problem-solving.

• Entry level candidates can applied and will be considered. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

任职要求

• 具备业务技能、管理能力、预算编制和分析能力

• 熟练操作 Windows、Office、AutoCAD、Excel 等软件

• 精通 MS Project 工具

• 能独立工作，在压力下按时完成任务

• 具有基本的合同事务知识

• 自信、积极、能在压力下解决问题，按时交付成果

• 欢迎初级申请者，具备使用计量软件和 Office 应用的能力
