Job Title: JUNIOR ENGINEER

Your Role: Driving Product Innovation and Client Satisfaction

As a Junior Engineer, you will support the APQP team in executing and managing new product development and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product quality and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Project Development
  • Report directly to the Head of Development Department on all development matters.
  • Participate in APQP processes and assist Project Leaders in launching new projects.
  • Attend and verify new tooling trials, ensuring part accuracy and conformance to drawings.
  • Establish and compile trial run parameters and verify results.
Documentation & Process Control
  • Prepare SOPs/Work Instructions for all new product development.
  • Create and manage documentation for PSW/PPAP/Approval processes.
  • Compile and manage technical drawings (parts, jigs, and tools).
  • Ensure all development documentation complies with IATF 16949 standards.
Customer & Supplier Coordination
  • Coordinate with customers on quality issues during development.
  • Monitor and ensure part sample submissions meet specifications.
  • Liaise with suppliers for sample submissions and confirm drawing compliance.
  • Prepare and manage PSI/PPRS and PQCM/SPTT documentation.
Tooling & Jigs
  • Supervise D&D technicians in developing inspection, assembly, and process jigs.
  • Provide technical support in jig and tooling validation.
Business Development Support
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
  • Assist in lead generation, proposal development, and building strong client relationships.
  • Support in sales strategy execution and client negotiations when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the Junior Engineer position.
  • For the Engineer position, candidates with 2–5 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing development roles are preferred.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5; able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to branches or supplier sites when needed.
