Job summary

A leading technology company in Bayan Lepas is seeking a Jigsaw Process and Equipment Engineer to oversee proper material and equipment selection within the production line. The ideal candidate will lead process improvements, maintain performance documentation, and manage training resources. This role requires over 5 years of relevant experience and strong Mandarin proficiency due to interactions with clients from China and Taiwan. Knowledge of quality tools and standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is essential.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 standards.
• Experience with Singulation machines, particularly Disco Saw, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead process control and maintain documentation.
• Sustain machine performance metrics like downtime and throughput.
• Manage continuous improvement projects related to machine performance.

Job description

Jigsaw Process and Equipment Engineer (Preferable Chinese Literate)

Lead on the assesses proper material, tooling, jig, fixture and equipment selection. Developing process required fixture & Jig and ensure they are proper implement in production line during or before new design and process. Monitor the development and strategy for specific Jigsaw products, configuration and deployment of Jigsaw solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Skills :

Lead the process control and maintain appropriate documentation.

Sustain Machine performance in term of Down Time, MTBA, MTBF and Throughput.

Lead continue improvement project related to machine performance or cost saving.

Manage resources in term of shift coverage, discipline and training.

Support on audit (internal, external and customer)

Manage documentation related to equipment (edit or create documentation of Procedure, Machine OCAP, Machine FMEA, Check list & etc)

Qualifications & Skills

Above 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical / Manufacturing Technology).

Strong proficiency in Mandarin speaking/reading/writing due to machine and customer are from China/Taiwan/Singapore.

Proficient in Minitab, 8D report writing, and quality tools (PPAP, FAI, CPK, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan).

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 standards.

Knowledge and hands on experience on machine Singulation machine especially on Disco Saw will be added advantages

Self-motivated, disciplined, and a team player with excellent communication and analytical skills
