Responsibilities

• Operate, configure, and administer central IT Service Operation tools with a focus on Event Management.
• Build, maintain, and monitor interfaces to Configuration and Service Management systems.
• Manage infrastructure across test, integration, and production environments (including patch management, high availability, and license handling).
• Perform testing, deployment, and release activities within the Application Management lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automation and monitoring solutions using scripting (Python, Groovy, or similar languages).
• Support the integration and operation of Kubernetes clusters within the service environment.
• Collaborate closely with other IT teams within Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification.
• Experience with ITIL-based processes in data center operations (especially Event, Incident, Problem, Configuration, and Change Management).
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and automation tools.
• Scripting experience with Python, Groovy, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Ideally, knowledge of MicroFocus BSM/OMi, UCMDB, or Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM).
• Understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and modern integration architectures.
