Job description

As a IT Work Desk Support, you will be responsible for providing fast, efficient, and advanced technical assistance across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of computer systems, software, and networks, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities. You will lead efforts to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and ensure that all workstations are functioning smoothly. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the productivity and satisfaction of the workforce by delivering high-quality IT support.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT support requests, delivering prompt, professional, and customer-focused technical assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and server issues through both onsite and remote support.
  • Maintain IT systems and workstations, ensuring proper software installation, updates, licenses, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with studio management and departments to support production needs and improve IT workflows.
  • Document all incidents and solutions accurately while maintaining clean, organized, and secure IT workspaces.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience with strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and production-focused IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat), servers, storage (ZFS, BTRFS), RAID (1–5), backup & disaster recovery, pfSense, Apache Subversion, and Python troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to support animation and creative software including Autodesk Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, Nuke, and related industry tools.
  • Advanced diagnostics and problem-solving skills with experience using remote support tools (e.g., Tactical Server, RustDesk) and managing complex technical incidents.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to work flexible hours when necessary to address urgent technical issues.
