Job summary

A leading IT service provider in Malaysia is seeking a professional to manage IT support and maintenance of multifunction printers and various systems. Responsibilities include repairing and troubleshooting copiers, installing network devices, and ensuring the security and performance of client systems. Job description

To ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of all IT and Multifunction Printer (MFP) and various company's system implementation projects for our clients. You will be responsible for delivering top-tier service, maintaining punctual and positive customer relations, and contributing to our team's efficiency and knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for copiers and MFPs within assigned areas.

Install and configure printers, scanners, and network connectivity for new and existing users.

Monitor and maintain the security of clients' computer systems and networks.

Complete scheduled service tasks efficiently and within required service timelines, aiming for a 4-hour response time.

Maintain devices to work at optimum performances.

Serve as a knowledgeable technical reference for product inquiries and complex issues for pre‑sales support for clients and internal teams.

Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and work instructions.

Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job status and findings.

Stay updated with technical knowledge through training and internal updates.

Assist with ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisors when required.

Requirements

Qualification: Degree in ICT, Computer Software, System Analysis, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronic, Robotic, Multimedia, Communication or related field (preferred).

Experience in IT support, MFP repair, and network troubleshooting is added advantage.

Strong knowledge of pc, printer hardware, network storage (NAS), servers, software drivers, CCTV and basic network configuration (TCP/IP, connectivity).

Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess own transport and willing to travel within the designated zone.

Disciplined in documentation and adherence to structured processes.

Able to support urgent issues after office hours when required.
