Job description

IT Hardware/Software and Infrastructure

• Responsible to ensure all hardware, software, data and networking running smoothly.
• Perform system maintenance that includes installation, configuration, upgrading, troubleshooting and monitoring in IT relevant hardware and software.
• Perform hardware, network and software support to the end user or other business units.
• Assist IT Manager in monitoring and supporting IT infrastructure devices and services, including computer, application, local and WAN network, IT security and server services (AD, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, FSRM, GPO, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Exchange, Mail Disclaimer, Solidworks & E3 EPLAN Network License Management and ePortal).
• Assist IT Manager in the implementation of new projects to meet business requirements.
• Assist IT Manager in implementing IT policies and standards operations.
• To have sufficient time for advance notice to users before service interruption.
• Other Duties as assigned from time to time by the company or the direct superior.

ERP System (Microsoft Dynamic AX)

• Perform AX support to ensure system operates smoothly.
• Understanding user’s need and provide end user level solutions to user.
• Reporting user’s need that require programming to superior and/or group programmer.

IT Documents and Reports

• Updating all IT relevant documents and reports, such as software license report, IT assets label report, IT Forms, IT Manuals, and etc.

IT Backup Solution

• Monitoring, Performing and/or assisting server and data backup to ensure daily backup completed successfully.
• Performing interval check of backup data to ensure backup data are in workable condition.
• Performing in data and/or server backup restore when disaster recovery needed.

IT Budget Control

• Prepares recommendations and effectively manages budgets for areas of responsibility.
• Sourcing of software and hardware best in value and meeting the available budget.
• Suggest improvement of company’s software and hardware.
