Job description

Maintenance of hardware, software, library software and operating systems including LAN and WLAN plus the CCTV monitoring system.

Installing hardware & software systems and checking performance as specified.

Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues.

Maintain up to date inventory of software & hardware.

Ensure routine safety checks are carried out weekly and appropriate records maintained, such as virus scan and HDD scan.

To keep abreast of current hardware & software developments & provide advice on the best products to the management.

Deliver hardware & resources to work areas and classrooms as required.

Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email.

Set up equipment such as laptops, data projectors, sound systems & other specialist ICT equipment to ensure that all systems are ready for use and operating correctly.

Requirements

Education: Degree/Diploma in IT or relevant certifications

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT software, hardware, OS, LAN/WLAN networking, and CCTV systems.

Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and fix technical issues on-site or remotely.

System Maintenance: Experience in performing routine safety checks, virus scans, and inventory logging.
