Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, launch and post-go-live support.

• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, resource plans and success criteria.

• Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, operations, and external vendors.

• Track project progress, identify risks and issues early, and implement mitigation plans.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect and refine requirements, provide regular status updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Support testing activities such as SIT and UAT, and ensure quality deliverables and seamless deployments.

• Maintain project documentation, risks logs, and post-implementation review reports.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally in a tech, financial services, or fintech environment.

• Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project.

• Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to balance technical delivery with business priorities and deadlines.

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications) are a plus.

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

• Experience in fintech, payments, digital banking or related financial technologies — strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of card payment schemes (Visa, Mastercard), card processing lifecycle, and payment gateway integrations is considered a strong plus.

• Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance, AML/KYC, fraud risk and payment security standards.

• Past experience working with acquiring/issuing platforms, APIs for payments, or financial system integrations.
