Role: Infrastructure Project Engineer is responsible to assist Infrastructure Solution Architect to implement information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of Sunway organization. The individual must ensure that all systems operate in accordance to the agreed design and support the development of new technologies and system requirements. The primary responsibility is to implement the adopted computer systems and offer infrastructure services in accordance with ICT security and performance. The Project Engineer will task in execution of Incident, Change, Release, Problem, Performance and Availability Management guided by the Solution Architect.

Responsibilities

• Implement IT infrastructure solutions (on premises & cloud) based on project requirements.
• Coordinate and perform the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware, software and cloud components.
• Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with industry best practices and comply with organizational standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and other IT professionals.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to integrate external solutions.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and post-implementation reports.
• Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Support incident, change, release, problem, performance and availability management activities as guided by the Solution Architect.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or any cloud-related certifications are an added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Bandar Sunway.
