• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems to support business needs.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and capacity planning.
• Operations Management:
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring seamless functioning of all systems, applications, and services.
  • Develop and enforce IT operational policies, processes, and standards to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee IT service desk and support functions to provide excellent user experience and issue resolution.
• Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT operations teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
  • Define team objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure IT systems adhere to cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, or other relevant regulations).
  • Implement and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities, and ensure timely mitigation.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure IT systems adhere to cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, or other relevant regulations).
  • Implement and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities, and ensure timely mitigation.
• Vendor and Budget Management:
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments and expenditure control.
  • Evaluate and procure hardware, software, and services aligned with organizational goals.
• Strategic IT Planning:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT operations with business goals and strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to drive business efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  • Monitor and report on IT operational performance, uptime, and incident management metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, and policies.
  • Present periodic IT operational updates to senior management and stakeholders.
