Job Overview
The IT Manager oversees the full spectrum of the company’s IT functions, including infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, applications support, and vendor management. This role is responsible for planning and executing the company’s IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap, ensuring strong system performance, data security, and operational efficiency. The IT Manager also leads the IT team, manages key technology projects, and ensures compliance with industry regulations and ISO requirements.
Summary of Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s IT roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.
- Align IT strategy with business goals to improve efficiency, productivity, and data security.
- Identify opportunities for automation, system upgrades, and process improvements.
2. IT Infrastructure & Operations Management
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of company IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud systems, telecommunications).
- Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability across all company locations.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and best practices to safeguard company data.
- Perform regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
4. System Administration & Applications Support
- Oversee the maintenance and performance of business applications (e.g., SAP/ERP, Microsoft 365, and email server).
- Manage system access, user authorizations, and security roles.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders for system upgrades or troubleshooting.
5. IT Support & Helpdesk Management
- Lead the IT support team in providing timely resolution to IT issues across the company.
- Develop SLAs and ensure service performance and quality.
- Provide user training on new systems, software, or IT policies.
- Evaluate and manage IT vendors, service providers, and contractors.
- Oversee procurement of IT equipment, licenses, and services.
- Ensure cost‑effectiveness and negotiation of contracts and warranties.
- Lead and develop the IT team through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Manage IT workload distribution and project execution.
- Foster a strong service‑oriented culture within the IT department.
8. Project Management
- Plan, lead, and execute IT‑related projects (new systems, hardware refresh, cybersecurity implementation).
- Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication.
Minimum Qualifications, Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in SAP Business One systems, Microsoft Office 365, is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
