Job description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Nurse to join our team at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. in Tapah Perak. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and wellbeing of our employees. As an Industrial Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care and support to our workforce, ensuring they receive the best possible care and treatment.

What you'll be doing
  • Responsible for development and administration of occupational health in compliance with acts, regulations, company policy and procedure to achieve company objectives.
  • Manage cases by providing treatment (within the jurisdiction of an industrial nurse with State Registered Nurse), following up and referrals, and emergency care for job-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Monitor and oversee the In-House Clinic on medicine, equipment, stock and budget.
  • Check and prepare reports such as Clinic Attendance Report, Medical Certification (MC), Hospitalization, Medical Invoices, Illness/Accident/Disease and Medicine/Equipment Stock & Expenses.
  • Attend any emergencies (industry accident) at workplace and provide first treatment before sending to clinic or hospital when required.
  • Assist and visit employees warded in hospital and report to HOD accordingly.
  • Counsel employees related to illness and injuries, prolong MC, abnormal MC and emotional problems.
  • Promote health awareness and educational programs related to personal health care and a good lifestyle.
  • Provide and monitor first aid boxes and equipment for all departments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assist on insurance administration matters on Group Personal Accident (GPA) and Hospitalization & Surgical (H&S).
  • Assist in SOCSO claim arising from industrial accidents and any related to company employees.
  • Supplementary tasks – Administration: assist and check workplace, canteen, hostel and company compound area cleanliness.
  • Assist and arrange for yearly medical check‑up (LOMEMA) for company foreign workers.
  • Perform administrative tasks, either ad‑hoc or routine, as and when assigned by the HRA Asst. Manager or HRA Manager.
