Responsibilities

  • Assist on GST return preparation, GST return review, and GST due diligence.
  • Support client engagements by coordinating with clients and managing deadlines.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice by supporting engagement teams.
  • Advise on the impact of indirect taxes on clients’ supply chains.
  • Identify areas of risk and assist clients with customs regulations.

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities
  • You’ll assist on GST return preparation, GST return review, GST due diligence, and GST training.
  • You’ll support client engagements by coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics.
  • You’ll actively contributing to the growth and development of the practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagement team support and delivery.
  • Advise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or good & services tax (GST) impact clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
  • Identify and address areas of risk, advise clients on the taxation implication of international trade and assist them in complying with customs regulations.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in indirect tax or a related field
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A professional qualification in Tax
  • Hands‑on experience in GST technical review
