Indirect Commodity Manager (Real Estate, Infrastructure)
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and contract negotiations for Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Utilities categories, including Power and Liquid Nitrogen.
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to drive efficiency, cost competitiveness, and long-term supplier value.
- Optimize spend through cost‑saving initiatives, standardization of facility equipment brands, and effective tendering and contract negotiations.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage global and regional suppliers in collaboration with Facilities stakeholders to ensure quality, compliance, and consistent performance.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to support informed and forward‑looking sourcing decisions.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning, diversification, and contingency management strategies.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams – including Finance, Legal, and Facilities – to align procurement objectives with business needs such as new factory setups and expansion projects.
- Conduct annual business reviews and manage supplier scorecards to measure and drive continuous improvement.
- Process purchase requisitions and confirm purchase orders as needed to support operational requirements.
- Provide procurement support to global AE manufacturing sites, design centers, and service hubs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall sourcing strategy and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in strategic procurement or commodity management, preferably within Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Utilities categories.
- Spend Management: Proven experience managing large‑scale global spend (around USD 50 million), ensuring cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of facility management, utilities contracts, infrastructure lifecycle costing, and electronic manufacturing processes.
- Strategic & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategic supplier relationships, conduct spend analysis, and manage supplier contracts to achieve savings and operational excellence.
- Systems Proficiency: Skilled in SAP or Ariba, with solid command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Leadership & Collaboration: Effective at partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Facilities, Engineering) to implement sourcing strategies and business initiatives.
- Execution & Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and responding decisively and professionally to changing business needs.
- Industry Advantage: Experience in high‑growth electronics manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
