A leading estate planning firm in Malaysia is seeking a legal professional to manage estate administration matters. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while advising beneficiaries and family members. The ideal candidate possesses a Law Degree, is admitted to the Malaysian Bar, and has at least one year of conveyancing experience. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, and knowledge of Mandarin is preferred for engaging clients. Manage and advise on estate administration matters, ensuring timely and accurate handling of cases.
Attend to beneficiaries, family members, and franchisees’ queries within stipulated timelines.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies in Malaysia.
Liaise with external service providers including lawyers (probate and conveyancing), tax agents, car agents, and other relevant parties.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff on legal procedures and compliance.
Prepare and present regular updates to Management on the progress of estate administration matters.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by offering legal insights and risk assessments.
