Job summary

A logistics company in Selangor is seeking a skilled individual to manage shipping documentation. This role involves preparing and processing necessary documents, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the logistics industry. Proficiency in English and Malay is essential, and knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage. The position requires strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Job description
Responsibilities

Prepare and process documents including Purchase Orders, invoices, Packing List and any other related documents.

Handling and ensure accuracy and timeliness on customer inquiries related to shipping, delivery times, and order tracking.

Capable of processing shipment bookings online efficiently and accurately.

Ensure customer's orders details are accurately & timely updated into the system.

Responsible to update the system on each job work flow do billing and submit job for closing once job complete.

Track shipments from dispatch to delivery using ERP, TMS (Transportation Management System) or carrier portals.

Maintain shipping logs and MIS reports, including freight cost analysis, delivery timelines and delays.

Ensure that all documentation meets import/export regulations.

Generating and analyzing reports on shipping performance and customer satisfaction.

To perform any other ad-hoc tasks from time to time from the superior.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree holder.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in preparing shipping documentation, preferably in the import/export of logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of import and export documentation requirements, customs procedures, and regulations.

Good command of English, Malay language.

Conversant of Mandarin language would be an added advantage for the required position.

Proficient in using relevant software and systems for document management and tracking.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers.

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Willing to work 5 1/2 days (with Saturday alternate).
